Louisiana

The age of consent in Louisiana is 16 years old depending upon the relative ages of the two parties. Louisiana defines sex in the following ways:

RS 14:41 Sexual intercourse
"Emission is not necessary and any sexual penetration, vaginal or anal, however slight is sufficient..."

RS 14:89 Crime against nature
"The unnatural carnal copulation by a human being with another of the same sex or opposite sex or with an animal, " unless you are raped. "Emission is not necessary; and, when committed by a human being with another, the use of the genital organ of one of the offenders of whatever sex is sufficient..."

RS 12:1041 Dissolution of corporation involved in organized homosexuality or prostitution.
"The attorney general is authorized to institute civil proceedings against any domestic corporation to procure a judgment annulling, vacating or forfeiting its articles of incorporation and franchise...when, any of the corporation officers or any other person controlling the management or operation of such corporation, ... is a person or persons engaged in activities such as ... any unlawful activity aimed at organized homosexuality, organized crimes against nature, organized prostitution..."

RS 13:4711 Abatement of public nuisances Subpart A. prostitution, obscenity...
"Maintenance of a nuisance in or upon any premises by a proprietary party, his representative, or any person acting in active concert with him or them may be enjoined...An order of abatement directing the effectual closing of the premises in question may be entered as part of the judgment..."

RS 14:76 Bigamy
"...marriage to another person by a person already married and having a husband or wife living; or the habitual cohabitation, in this state, with such second husband or wife, regardless of the place where the marriage was celebrated."

RS 14:77 Abetting bigamy
"...marriage of an unmarried person to the husband or wife of another, with knowledge of the fact that the party is married and without a reasonable and honest belief that such party is divorced or his marriage annulled, or that the party's husband or wife is dead."

RS 14:82 Prostitution
"...indiscriminate sexual intercourse with others for compensation... solicitation by one person of another with the intent to engage in indiscriminate sexual intercourse with the latter for compensation." is a misdemeanor.

RS 14:83 Soliciting for prostitutes
"...the soliciting, inviting, inducing, directing or transporting a person to any place with the intention of promoting prostitution."

RS 14:83.1 Inciting prostitution
"...aiding, abetting, or assisting in an enterprise for profit in which: customers are charged a fee for services which include prostitution".

RS 14:83.2 Promoting prostitution
"...control of, supervision of, or management of an enterprise for profit in which customers are charged a fee for services which include prostitution".

RS 14:83.3 Prostitution by massage
"...erotic stimulation of the genital organs of another by any masseur, masseuse, or any other person, whether resulting in orgasm or not, by instrumental manipulation, touching with the hands, or other bodily contact exclusive of sexual intercourse or unnatural carnal copulation, when done for money."

RS 14:83.4 Massage; sexual conduct prohibited
"It shall be unlawful for any masseur, masseuse,... to: expose, touch, caress, or fondle the genitals, anus, or pubic hairs of any person or the nipples of the female breast; or to perform any acts of sadomasochistic abuse, flagellation, or torture in the context of sexual conduct."

RS 14:84 Pandering
"Enticing, placing, persuading, encouraging, or causing the entrance of any person into the practice of prostitution..."

RS 14:85 Letting premises for prostitution
"...granting of the right of use or the leasing of any premises, knowing that they are to be used for the practice of prostitution"

RS 14:89 Crime against nature (sodomy)
"The unnatural carnal copulation by a human being with another of the same sex or opposite sex or with an animal, " unless you are raped. "Emission is not necessary; and, when committed by a human being with another, the use of the genital organ of one of the offenders of whatever sex is sufficient to constitute the crime."

RS 14:106 Obscenity
"Exposure of the genitals, pubic hair, anus, vulva, or female breast nipples in any public place or place open to the public view with the intent of arousing sexual desire...Hard core sexual conduct is the public portrayal of...ultimate sexual acts, normal or perverted, masturbation, excretory functions or lewd exhibition, ... of the genitals, pubic hair, anus, vulva, or female breast nipples; or sadomasochistic abuse,... flagellation, or torture by or upon a person .. in the condition of being fettered, bound, or otherwise physically restrained,... touching, caressing, or fondling of, ... a pubic area, anus, female breast nipple, covered or... stimulation of a human genital organ by any device"

RS 14:107 Vagrancy
"Persons who live in houses of ill fame or who habitually associate with prostitutes; or ...prostitutes" shall be guilty of vagrancy.

RS 14:282 Operation of a place of prostitution
Owning "...any place or any conveyance used for the purpose of lewdness, assignation, or prostitution..."

RS 26:90 Acts prohibited in establishments which serve alcohol
"...are deemed to constitute lewd, immoral, or improper entertainment as prohibited by this Section ... Acts or simulated acts of sexual intercourse, masturbation, sodomy, bestiality, oral copulation, flagellation, or any sexual acts which are prohibited by law. Any person being touched, caressed or fondled on the breast, buttocks, anus, or genitals. Scenes wherein a person displays the vulva or the anus or the genitals. Scenes wherein artificial devices or inanimate objects are employed to depict, or drawings are employed to portray, any of the prohibited activities described above."

RS 37:3563 Prostitutes cannot be massage therapists
"Any person who has been convicted of... to crimes or offenses involving prostitution or sexual offenses shall be ineligible for licensure as a massage therapist or a massage therapy instructor."
